Washington, D.C.—The Associated General Contactors of America (حوإ¼½م½م) today announced that it joined an elite group of organizations offering IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for its professional development and training programs for the next five years.
“This achievement increases the value of حوإ¼½م½م’s professional development programs,†said حوإ¼½م½م CEO Stephen E. Sandherr. “Our ability to deliver CEUs to contractors gives them an industry edge and enables them to deliver only the best business practices."
IACET CEUs serve as one of the highest authorized providers of quality continuing education and training, and help to differentiate حوإ¼½م½م’s programs from others in the industry.
IACET CEUs are accepted at more than 400 universities, regulatory boards, state entities and other organizations in the U.S. and worldwide. CEUs are used to maintain records of completion for organized professional development programs and non-degree post-secondary education. They are widely recognized as evidence of educational attainment. One CEU is granted for every 10-hours of classroom participation.
حوإ¼½م½م, an IACET Authorized Provider, offers continuing education and training programs that are among the leaders in the construction industry. It also gives members and participants the continuing education credits required in order to keep current with any professional certifications and designations.
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is a non-profit association dedicated to improving the quality of continuing education and training programs. IACET authorizes education providers who meet strict continuing education guidelines created in 1968. This IACET qualifying process is the standard that HR training buyers and learners seek for quality. IACET’s mission is to promote and enhance quality in continuing education and training through research, education, and standard setting. For more information about IACET, visit
